Tour Itinerary

First day:

• Welcoming reception and transfer to the hotel (in the morning).
• City tour in the “City of Kings” (14:00 hrs to 18:30 hrs).
• Overnight at selected hotel in Lima.

Second day:

• Breakfast at hotel.
• Transfer from the hotel to the airport in Lima.
• Flight from Lima to Cusco (1:15 hrs)(in the morning).
• Reception and transfer from the airport to the hotel in Cusco.
• Tour to Chinchero, Moray and Salineras.
• Overnight at selected hotel in the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

Third day:

• Breakfast at hotel.
• Tour to Sacred Valley of the Incas: Pisac Indian Market, archaeological sites of Pisac and Ollantaytambo. (08:30 hrs – 16:00 hrs).
• Buffet lunch in Urubamba.
• Overnight at selected hotel in the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

Fourth day:

• Breakfast at hotel.
• Transfer from the hotel to the Train Station in Ollantaytambo.
• Peru Rail train ride from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes (From 7:05 hrs to 8:27 hrs).
• Bus to go up from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu.
• Guided tour in Machu Picchu (2 hours approximately).
• Bus to go down from Machupicchu to Aguas Calientes.
• Train ride from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo (From 15:48 hrs to 17:29 hrs)
• Transfer from the train station to your hotel in Cusco.
• Overnight at selected hotel in Cusco.

Fifth day:

• Breakfast at hotel.
• In the afternoon city tour visiting: The Cathedral, Koricancha, Sacsayhuaman, Kenko, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay (13:15 hrs – 18:30 hrs.).
• Overnight at selected hotel in Cusco.

Sixth day:

• Breakfast at hotel.
• Transfer from the hotel to the airport to board your flight back to Lima.
• Flight from Cusco to Lima (1:15 hrs)(in the morning).
• Transfer from the airport in Lima to the bus station to Nazca.
• Bus from Lima to Nazca (14:00 hrs – 20:00 hrs).
• Overnight at selected hotel in Nazca.

Seventh day:

• Breakfast at hotel.
• Nazca Lines Overflight.
• Bus from Nazca to Paracas (13:00 hrs – 16:00 hrs).
• Overnight at selected hotel in Paracas.

Eighth day:

• Breakfast at hotel.
• Tour to the Ballestas Islands.
• Tour in Paracas National Reserve.
• Bus from Paracas to Lima (13:00 hrs – 17:00 hrs).
• Transfer from the bus station to the hotel or airport in Lima.

Tour Description

First Day: Welcome and City Tour in the city of Kings.

Upon your arrival to Jorge Chavez International Airport, our staff will be waiting for you with a sign displaying your name. You will then be transported to your selected hotel where you can have some free time to rest and have lunch. In the afternoon we are going visit: the smallest district of Lima, Barranco which is famous for the Bridge of Sighs; the Hermitage and the monument to Isabel Granada Larco “Chabuca Granda”; the Love Park; the Justice Palace; the French Palace and colonial buildings such as the Mayor Plaza , the Government Palace, the Archbishop’s Palace, the Cathedral, the Municipal Palace, Plaza San Martin, among others.

We are also going to visit the National Museum, where you can find a collection of gold from Peru and a selection of ceramics, jewellery and textiles of its different pre-Columbian cultures. Continuing with our tour we are going to visit the Church and Convent of San Francisco then we will return to the hotel.

Second Day: Fligth Lima – Cusco and tour to Maras, Moray and Salt Mines.

After breakfast, our staff will transfer you to the airport and you will take a flight to Cusco and upon your arrival, you will meet with our staff who will be waiting for you at the airport holding a sign with your name. They will transport you to the selected hotel before beginning the tour by making our way through the mountains to the picturesque village of Maras. After admiring the beautiful landscapes we will drive a further 15minutes to the very impressive archaeological site of Moray which was an ancient plant acclimatization research centre. Our last stop is Salineras which consists of salt water fountains that run over 3000 water wells, which are later dried to leave behind a reddish salt with a unique flavour. The locals of today are still using the same Inca site and method which you will be able to see. In the afternoon we are going to transfer you to the selected hotel in the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

Third day: Tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

We are going to pick you up from your hotel in the Sacred Valley at the scheduled time before making our way to our first stop of the day Pisac. A beautiful mountain village with narrow, cobbled streets, traditional Indian Market, where you can buy stunning handcrafts made from the locals and explore the Inca ruins the cover the mountains above. Later we will continue our journey to Urubamba, where you will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch at a local restaurant. In the Afternoon we will visit the Archaeological Park of Ollantaytambo (the only town in Peru where it is possible to find people living in the same buildings that served as the homes of the Incan Society). In the afternoon we will transfer you to your selected hotel in the sacred valley.

Fourth day: Tour to Machu Picchu, the lost city of the Incas.

Our staff are going to pick you up from your hotel in the Sacred Valley of the Incas to transport you to Ollantaytambo train station then you will board the train (train rides lasts 2 hrs). On your arrival to Aguas Calientes, our guide will be waiting for you, with whom you will begin the 30 minute bus journey up to the Historical Sanctuary of “Machu Picchu”. On arrival you are going to pass the control, have your tickets checked and your passport stamped if you wish, before beginning with our guided tour. You will learn about and explore the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Intiwatana, the Royal Quarters, the Three Windows temple, for an average of two hours. Then you are going to have free time to roam the sacred grounds of Machu Picchu by yourselves. In the afternoon you are going to take the train back to Poroy (depending on the train departure time), the return will be made through the same path way to reach the train station in Poroy, we will be waiting for you to get back to your hotel in Cusco city.

Fifth day: City tour in Cusco.

After breakfast you will have free time to rest and walk explore this stunning city by yourself. Between 13:00hrs and 13:30hrs, we will pick you up from your hotel to start our tour. We will visit the Cathedral, a Colonial religious monument of extraordinary artistic value; the Koricancha, “Sun Temple”, where you can appreciate the finest work that Incas performed on stone. On the outskirts of Cusco city, we will visit: Sacsayhuaman, a fortress with a strategic location offering an unparalleled view of the town, also where Inti Raymi or “Sun Festivity” is performed every June 24th. Finally you are going to visit Kenko, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay.

Sixth day: Fligth Cusco – Lima and transfer to Nazca.

Two hours before your flight departure, our staff will come to your hotel to transport you to the airport and you will board the plane to the city of the Kings. Upon your arrival our staff will transfer you to the bus station, where you will catch the bus to Nazca city. Then you will be transferred to the selected hotel in Nazca.

Seventh day: Nazca Lines overflight and transfer to Paracas.

After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your Nazca flight. Firstly you are going to receive some information about ancient geoglyphs, before taking flight for a better view. You are flying over the incredible Nazca Lines for an average of 45 minutes. Many people believe that these giant figures were made by extra-terrestrial beings, among which we can distinguish animals such as a monkey, spider, hummingbird and others. After the flight, you will be transferred to Paracas, where you will spend the night.

Eighth day: Tour to the Ballestas Islands, transfer to Lima and farewell.

Enjoy the morning on the Ballestas Islands and Paracas National Reserve, where you can admire the different species of sea lions, seals, penguins and seabirds. In the evening you will board the bus to Lima, where our staff will be waiting to transfer you to the hotel or airport.
