Tour Itinerary 10 days in Peru enjoying the Andean cultures.

First day:

• Reception and transfer from Lima airport to the Hotel(in the morning)
• City tour in the “City of the Kings” (from 14:00 hrs to 18:30 hrs).
• Accommodation in selected hotel in Lima.

Second day:

• Transfer from the hotel in Lima to the Airport
• Flight in Lima Airplane – Arequipa (07: 45hrs – 09: 10hrs) (NOT INCLUDED).
• Reception and transfer from the airport in Arequipa to the hotel (in the morning).
• City Tour in Arequipa: Convent of Santa Catalina, cloisters of the Company of Jesus, the neighborhoods of Cayma, Yanahuara, a magnificent view of the volcano El Misti. (14:00 p.m. – 18:00 p.m.).
• Accommodation in the selected hotel in Arequipa.

Third day:

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Arequipa travel to the deepest canyon of the planet (Colca)
• Overnight at selected hotel in Colca.

Fourth day:

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Tour to one of the deepest Canyons in the world.
• Trip from Chivay to Puno.
• Reception and transfer from the terminal in Puno to the hotel
• Overnight at selected hotel in Puno.

Fifth day:

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Tour on Lake Titicaca: Island of Uros and Taquile.
• Overnight at selected hotel in Puno.

Sixth day:

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Transfer from the hotel to the bus terminal from Puno to Cusco
• Guided tour on the route of the Sun (Puno to Cusco) (06:40 hrs – 17:30 hrs).
• Reception and transfer from the Terminal in Cusco to the hotel
• Accommodation in the selected hotel in Cusco.

Seventh day:

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Morning Optional Optional Museum View (On Your Own)
• City tour in Cusco: The Cathedral, Koricancha, Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay (13:30 a.m. – 18:30 p.m.).
• Accommodation in the selected hotel in Cusco.

Eighth day:

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Tour to Sacred Valley of the Incas: Artisan Market of Pisac, archaeological center of Pisac and Ollantaytambo (8hrs – 16hrs)
• Buffet lunch included in Urubamba.
• Inca Rail Train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes (From 16:36 pm to 18:09 pm).
• Transfer from the Aguas Calientes station to the hotel.
• Accommodation at selected hotel in Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu.

Ninth day:

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• 5:30 am. Riding by bus to Machu Picchu.
• 6:00 am. View of the sunrise in Machu Picchu.
• Guided Tour in Machu Picchu (approximately 3 hours).
• Hike to Huaynapicchu (3 hours, without guide) (optional)
• Bus return to Aguas Calientes.
• Lunch in Aguas Calientes.
• Return by train from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo (From 19: 00hrs – 20:40hrs)
• Transfer from the train station to your hotel in Cusco.
• Accommodation in the selected hotel in Cusco.

Tenth day:

• Breakfast at the hotel.

Tour Description

First day: Welcome and City Tour in the city of Kings:

Upon your arrival to Jorge Chavez International Airport, where our staff will be waiting for you with a sign displaying your name, you will be transported to your selected hotel. You will be given free time to enjoy our impressive gastronomy. In the afternoon we will start our tour by stopping in the smallest district of Lima, Barranco, where the famous Bridge of Sighs, the Hermitage and the monument to Isabel Granada Larco “Chabuca Granda”. We will arrive to Miraflores to see the Park of Love with its panoramic view of the Huaca Pucllana, a Pre Inca religious temple and administrative center inhabited between the III and VIII centuries d.c. We will take a walk through the park of the olive trees, which date back from the Viceroyalty with an area of 23 hectares. After a short 6km walk we will arrive at an historical center where you will appreciate the Palace of Justice, Paseo de los Heroes Navales, the French Palace and other colonial buildings such as the Plaza Mayor, the Government Palace, the Archbishop’s Palace, The Municipal Palace, the Plaza San Martin, among others.

We visit the Museum of the Nation, where you can see a collection of gold from Peru and a selection of ceramics, goldsmiths and textiles from various pre-Columbian cultures. Continuing our tour of the Church and Convent of San Francisco and highlighting the visit with its underground crypts known as Catacombs and then return to the hotel.

Second day: Trip from Lima to Arequipa, City tour in the city of Arequipa.

After breakfast our staff will pick you up from your Hotel to transfer you to the airport for your flight to Arequipa. You will arrive in the White City of Arequipa where our staff will be waiting with a sign displaying your name to transfer you to your selected hotel. After your lunch we will start the tour of the city where we will visit Santa Catalina Convent, cloisters of the Company of Jesus, the neighborhoods of Cayma, Yanahuara, a magnificent view of the volcano El Misti and before returning to your hotel.

Third day: Trip to one of the deepest Canyons on the planet, Colca Canyon.

After breakfast our staff will pick you up from your hotel for the trip to the Colca Valley, which is located in the north-eastern tip of the Arequipa region, a few hours north of the city of Arequipa. Here you can find the Colca River and the Colca Canyon. Along the way you can see interesting natural landscapes and many animals such as condors, llamas, alpacas, guanacos, vicuñas and vizcachas.
The origin of this valley is due to a fault of the terrestrial crust, eroded for thousands of years by the longest river of the Peruvian coast. The Colca River reaches depths of up to 3,400 meters on both slopes and over 200 kilometers in length.

Fourth day: Journey to the Cross of the Condor.

After breakfast we will go to Cruz del Cóndor. On the way to the Colca Valley there are 14 villages staggered along the valley, full of life and color. In the Cross of the Condor the road passes to the edge of the canyon, allowing for incredible views. Experiences from previous visitors indicate that the panorama seen from here is “spectacular”, because below runs the Colca River at a depth of 1,200 meters, while the wall of the front, reaches a height of 3,100 meters in whose peaks are covered in ice and, below, the condors fly majestically. Then we will return to Chivay to pick up the bags and from there we make our way to Puno in the afternoon on a tourist bus.

Fifth day: Tour to Lake Titicaca, Uros Islands and Taquile.

After breakfast at the hotel you will be transferred to the port of Puno where you will board the boat. You will visit the Floating Islands of the Uros, which are considered as artificial or floating islands, for the duration of 45 minutes. Later we will continue with our visit to the Taquile Island of great landscape, ethnic, cultural and archaeological value. At 17:30 we will be returning to the hotel.

Sixth day: Guided tour on the route Puno – Cusco: La Raya, Sicuani, Raqchi, Andahuaylillas

After breakfast you will be transferred to the bus station to Cusco. We will start our visit to Pucara, where we will visit the Lítico Museum. This museum allows us to immerse ourselves in the history and evolution of the Andean man from the primitive time. After Pucara will we take the route through the high Andean esplanades, before making a stop in La Raya, the highest point of the route from where you will be able to take excellent photographs. We will have lunch in a Restaurant of the area in Sicuani. Then we will visit Racchi, where the “Temple of God Wiracocha” is located and finally we will visit Andahuaylillas, which for its valuable works of art, is considered the Sixteenth Chapel of America. Finally we will be arriving to the city of Cusco, where our staff will be waiting for you to provide the transfer service to your Hotel.

Seventh day: City tour in Cusco

You will have the morning Free, to rest, adapt to the altitude and enjoy a meal. Between the hours of 13pm and 13:30pm we will be passing by your hotel to start the tour during of which we will visit: The Cathedral, colonial religious monument of extraordinary artistic value, the Qorikancha or Temple of the Sun, where you can appreciate some of the finest work that the Incas performed on stone. Continuing with the tour we will go to Sacsayhuamán, a fortress with a strategic location, offering an unrivaled view of the city, where the Inti Raymi or “Fiesta del Sol” is held every June 24. Then later we will visit Qenqo, Tambomachay and Puca Pucará, archaeological complexes of religious character.

Eighth day: Tour in the Sacred Valley of the Inkas and Aguas Calientes.

At the indicated time we will pick you up from your hotel before heading along a paved road across the mountaints and into the village of Pisaq which is located 32 km from the city of Cusco. Once we arrive we will have free time to visit its colorful markets and purchase some of the most beautiful handmade crafts and souvenirs. We will continue our trip to Urubamba for a buffet lunch at a local restaurant, then we will visit Ollantaytambo (the only city where the maintains the ancient layout made by the great Inka architects). In the afternoon we board the train to Aguas Calientes.

Ninth day: Tour to Machu Picchu “The lost city of the Incas” and trek to Huaynapicchu.

After breakfast at the hotel, along with the guide you will have the wonderful opportunity of visiting the mysteriously charming, Machu Picchu which is considered as one of the 7 wonders of the world. At 11am, we will hike to Huaynapicchu (the mountain from where you have a spectacular view of the Machupicchu valley) and at the appropriate time we will begin our descent to the village of Aguas Calientes to have some lunch. In the afternoon we will board the train to Ollantaytambo where our staff will be waiting for you to transfer you to your hotel.

Tenth day: Farewell

Two hours before the departure of your flight, we will pick you up from your hotel and then transport you to the airport, where we will say goodbye and end our services.
