Tour Description

First Day: Cusco – Santa Maria: Bike 55km (optional Rafting: USD 50 from April – Nov).

At 6am our staff will pick you up from your selected hotel and transport you to Abra Malaga (4350m,) where we stop and prepare to descend 55 kilometers by bike, to reach the town of Huamanmarca, where we have lunch. As we descend we will notice the climate change, glacier chills to the warmth. The road is luscious with vegetation, fruit trees and flowers, through to the town of Santa Maria, where we will spend the night.

Optional: In Santa Maria will have the opportunity to River Rafting Class III and IV ¬ on the Urubamba River. It is recommended to do so in the months of April to November. This service has an additional cost of USD 50.

Second day: Santa Maria – Santa Teresa: Trekking (23 km)

After breakfast we begin our trek toward the town of SantaTeresa, during which we will pass the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu in Vilcabamba, which is a very important part of Inca and pre-Inca origin. From here we have a stunning view of the entire canyon Huancarccasa before descending to the town of Quellomayo, where we have lunch in a country restaurant. We will continue our trek to the hot springs of Cocalmayo and where you have the time to indulge in a bath before returning to Santa Teresa, where we spend the second night.

Third day: Santa Teresa – Aguas Calientes: Trekking 16km (Zip Line Canopy-optional: USD 50)

After breakfast we continue our walk towards the town of Aguas Calientes or Machu Picchu Pueblo, walk through the Valley Hydroelectric Aobamba up to, where we have lunch. En route we will see a series of waterfalls and also have the opportunity to see the mountains of Machu Picchu and Huayna Picchu and after walking two hours per side of the railway will reach Machu Picchu Pueblo.

Optional: This day will have the opportunity to zip line canopy. This service has an additional cost of USD 50.

Fourth day: Machu Picchu

This day is the most important, therefore we will get up at 4:30 am and begin our trek to the Historical Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, considered one of the seven wonders of the modern world, we walk for an average of 1:30 am to get to control where checked passports and tickets and then begin our guided by an average of 2 hours and give them time so they can explore on their own Machu Picchu tour, then will return to Machu Picchu village where you will take the train to Cusco and once arrived at the station a representative of our company will be waiting for you to take you to your hotel in Cusco.
