Itinerary

First day:

• Reception and transfer from Cusco airport to the hotel (in the morning).
• City tour in Cusco: The Cathedral, Qoricancha, Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay (13:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.).
• Accommodation in the selected hotel in Cusco.

Second day:

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Tour to Sacred Valley of the Incas: Artisan Market of Pisac, archaeological center of Pisac, Ollantaytambo and Chinchero (8:00 a.m. – 18:00 p.m.)
• Accommodation in the selected hotel in Cusco.

Third day:

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Trekking to Rainbow Mountain or Seven Colors (4:30 a.m. – 19:00 p.m.)

Fourth day:

• Tour Maras Moray and Salineras (08:00 hrs – 14:00 hrs).

• Transfer from the hotel to Ollantaytambo station. (9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.)
• Inca Rail Train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes (11:15 a.m. – 12:45 p.m.)
• Transfer from the Aguas Calientes station to the hotel.
• Accommodation at the selected hotel in Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu.

Sixth day:

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• 5:30 am. Riding by bus to Machupicchu
• 6:00 am. View of the sunrise in Machu Picchu
• Guided tour in Machu Picchu (approximately 3 hours).
• Hike to Huaynapicchu (3 hours, without guide). (Optional)
• Bus return to Aguas Calientes.

Tour Description

First day: Welcome and City tour in Cusco.

Upon your arrival to our city of Cusco a representative of ours will be waiting for you, with a sign displaying your name, to transport you to the hotel of your choice. You will have free time to rest, adapt to the altitude and have a meal. Between 13pm and 13:30 pm we will be passing by your hotel to start the tour, we will visit: The Cathedral, colonial religious monument of extraordinary artistic value, the Qorikancha or Temple of the Sun, where you can appreciate the very fine work which the Incas performed on the stone. Continuing with the tour we will go to Sacsayhuamán, a fortress with a strategic location, offering an unrivaled view of the city, where the Inti Raymi or “Fiesta del Sol” is held every June 24, after which we will visit Qenqo, Tambomachay and Puca Pucará, archaeological complexes of religious character.

Second day: Tour in the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

At the indicated time we will go to the hotel to pick you up to begin the tour. Along the way we will stop at the natural viewpoint of Taray, where the guide will give you an introduction about the Sacred Valley. The first place to visit is Pisaq, one of the most important archeological centers of the area. There we explore the colorful craft market where you can shop for some handmade souvenirs. We will later continue our trip to Urubamba where we will have a buffet lunch in an exclusive restaurant. In the afternoon we will visit the Citadel of Ollantaytambo (only city that maintains the urban trajectory realized by the great Inca architects) and to finish the tour arrive at the picturesque Pueblito de Chinchero.

Third day: Vinicunca Trekking, Rainbow Mountain Vinicunca.

Very early, at 4:30 am we will pick you up from your respective hotels in the city of Cusco, then transport you in a private tourist van to Pitumarca. The journey lasts for about 3 hours passing by the skirts of the snowy Mountain, Ausangate. Upon our arrival in Pitumarca we will stop to taste a delicious breakfast and the guide will give us a short introduction of the place before, we start our trek uphill towards the seven colors. The ascent lasts for 03 hours and during the trip we will have the opportunity to see a variety South American camelids, sheep, birds, lagoons, plateaus, streams and snowcapped mountain ranges. At approximately 10:00 am we will be arriving at our main destination, The Rainbow Mountain, a unique place that geography capriciously formed as if they had been painted by hand and brush. Here we will have time to take some of the best photographs and after an hour or so, we will get to descend approximately arriving at Quesoyoni at 3.00 and after a comforting lunch we will board our transport to return to the city of Cusco arriving at the average of the 19: 00 hrs.

Fourth day: Tour to Maras, Moray and Salineras.

Between 8:00 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. we will pick you up from the hotel of your choice, to take you to the town of Maras, a picturesque community with beautiful landscapes. We will visit Moray, which is the center of agricultural research and Salineras, where we find a natural salt water spring from which salt is obtained by an ancient evaporation process.

Fifth day: Cusco – Aguas Calientes Machu Picchu

At the indicated time we will go to the hotel to pick you up before making our way to Ollantaytambo station and then take the train to the town of Aguas Calientes, MachuPicchu. Here you will have the day to visit the area of this unique town. In the evening your guide will visit you to coordinate the tour for the next day.

Sixth day: Tour to Machu Picchu “The lost city of the Incas” and trek to Huaynapicchu

After breakfast at the hotel, accompanied by the guide, you will have the wonderful opportunity of visiting the mysteriously charming, Machu Picchu. At 11am, we will hike to Huaynapicchu (the mountain from where you have a spectacular view of the Machupicchu valley) and at the appropriate time we will begin our descent to the village of Aguas Calientes to have lunch. Later in the afternoon we will board the train to Ollantaytambo where our staff will be waiting for you, to transfer you to your hotel.

Seventh day: Tour to the Lagoon Humantay

We will pass by your hotel to collect you between 4:30 to 5:00am to begin our travel towards the town of Mollepata, in the exuberant valley of the Apurímac River. After a well-deserved breakfast, to fill us with energy we will continue our trip to Soraypampa (3900mts). After a short rest here, we will begin our trek towards Lagoon Humantay located at 4200mt/13779 feet, after the ascent of 2 hours approximately and taking some time to appreciate such beautiful surroundings, we will return to our camp for a lunch with panoramic views of the snowy mountain peaks. Later will be transferred to Cusco.

Eighth day: Farewell

Two hours before the departure of your flight, we will pick you up from your hotel and then transport you to the airport, where we will say goodbye and end our services.
