Itinerary

First day:

• Reception and transfer from Cusco airport to the hotel (in the morning).
• City tour in Cusco: The Cathedral, Qoricancha, Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay (13:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.).
• Accommodation in the selected hotel in Cusco.

Second day:

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Tour to the Sacred Valley of the Inkas: Artisan Market of Pisac, archaeological center of Pisac and Ollantaytambo (8hrs – 16hrs).
• Buffet lunch included in Urubamba.
• Inca Rail Train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes (From 16:36 pm to 18:09 pm.)
• Transfer from the Aguas Calientes station to the hotel.
• Accommodation at selected hotel in Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu.

Third day:

• Breakfast at the hotel
• 5:30 am. Travelling by bus to Machu Picchu.
• 6:00 am. View of the sunrise in Machu Picchu.
• Guided Tour in Machu Picchu (approximately 3 hours).
• Hike to Huaynapicchu (3 hours, without guide) (optional).
• Bus return to Aguas Calientes.
• Return by train from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo (From 19: 00hrs – 20:40hrs).
• Transfer from the train station to your hotel in Cusco.
• Accommodation in the selected hotel in Cusco.

Fourth day:

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Trekking a la montaña arco iris o siete colores (04:30 hrs – 19:00 hrs).
• Accommodation in the selected hotel in Cusco.

Fifth day

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Transfer from the hotel to Cusco airport.

Tour Description

First day: Welcome and City tour in Cusco:

Upon your arrival to our city of Cusco a representative of ours will be waiting for you, with a sign displaying your name, to transport you to the hotel of your choice. You will have free time to rest, adapt to the altitude and have a meal. Between 13pm and 13:30 pm we will be passing by your hotel to start the tour, we will visit: The Cathedral, colonial religious monument of extraordinary artistic value, the Qorikancha or Temple of the Sun, where you can appreciate the very fine work which the Incas performed on the stone. Continuing with the tour we will go to Sacsayhuamán, a fortress with a strategic location, offering an unrivaled view of the city, where the Inti Raymi or “Fiesta del Sol” is held every June 24, after which we will visit Qenqo, Tambomachay and Puca Pucará, archaeological complexes of religious character.

Second day: Tour in the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

At the indicated time we will pick you up from the hotel and then head to the village of Pisac, located 32 km from the city of Cusco. Once we arrive at there we will have some free time to visit the colorful market where you will have the chance to purchase some local, handmade crafts and souvenirs. We will continue our trip to Urubamba for a buffet lunch at a local restaurant, then we will visit Ollantaytambo (the only city that maintains the urban layout made by the great Inka architects). In the afternoon we board the train to Aguas Calientes.

Third day: Tour to Machu Picchu “The lost city of the Incas” and trek to Huaynapicchu.

After breakfast at the hotel, along side the guide we will have the wonderful opportunity to visit the mysteriously charming, considered as one of the 7 wonders of the world, Perus Machu Picchu. At 11am, we will hike to Huaynapicchu (Mountain from where you have a spectacular view of the Machupicchu valley) and at the appropriate time you will descend to the village of Aguas Calientes to have lunch. Later in the afternoon we will board the train to Ollantaytambo where our staff will be waiting for you at the train station to transfer you to your hotel.

Fourth day: Trekking to Rainbow Mountain.

Very early, at 04:30 am we will pick you up from your respective hotel in the city of Cusco, before transport you on a private tourist mobility van to Pitumarca. The journey lasts for 3 hours passing by the skirts of snowy Ausangate. Upon our arrival to Pitumarca we will stop to taste a delicious breakfast and the guide will give us a short introduction of the place and we will start with our trek up hill. The ascent lasts for about 4 hours and during the trip we will have the opportunity to see a variety of South American camelids, sheep, birds, lagoons, plateaus, streams and snowcapped mountains. At approximately 11:00am we will be arriving at our main destination, Rainbow Mountain, a unique place that geography capriciously formed as if painted by hand. Here we will spend some time to take some amazing photographs and after an hour we will begin to descend for 3:30 hours approximately. We arrive at Quesiuno and after a comforting lunch we will board our transport to return to the city of Cusco arriving averagely at 19: 00 hrs.

Fifth Day: Farewell

Two hours before the departure of your flight, we will pick you up from your hotel and then transport you to the airport, where we will say goodbye and end our services.
